20% reduction in emissions target

On 19th August New Zealand's Prime Minister announced that NZ will be signing on at Copenhagen to a 20% reduction in carbon emissions. This will put us back at 1992 levels which still won't make as big a difference most people want.

Greenpeace is still determined to convince him to sign to a 40% target rather than 20%.

We agree with Greenpeace so to help the cause sign on at http://www.signon.org.nz/ .
